The This Is It Documentary captures Jackson doing what he was good at, singing and performing. The documentary will is roughly 80 minutes long and will open simultaneously nationwide on October 30, 2009.
Upon release of the movie This Is It DVD and CD Sound Tracks will be sent to all Pre-order customers. Then two weeks after the premier the movie will be pulled from theaters. With such a short theater run and limited tickets being sold sure everything involved will climb in value.

Description
Disc one features the original album masters of some of Michael's biggest hits such as "Billie Jean," "Smooth Criminal," "Human Nature," and "Thriller" arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film. The disc ends with two versions of "This Is It," the original and an orchestral version. "This Is It" is featured in the film's closing sequence and includes backing vocals by Michael's brothers, the Jacksons.Disc two offers fans a rare listen to the early demo versions of classics "She's Out Of My Life," "Wanna Be Startin'," "Somethin'," and "Beat It." This disc also features a recently discovered spoken word poem from Michael Jackson entitled "Planet Earth." Michael Jackson's This Is It also includes a 36-page, commemorative booklet featuring exclusive photos of Michael from his last rehearsal.

I loved the video for "This Is It" and had to own the soundtrack as well. I have listened to it again and again. It is great music for motivation, working out, cycling, dancing! MJ was a genius, and his early demise is all of our loss.
this is a nice compilation, but what i'd really would have liked was the ORIGINAL music compilation of songs from the movie, as they were played in the movie. the edginess of "thriller", "smooth criminal", the prelude 2 "how u make me feel", & all the others, were over the top FANTASTIC! is there any way i could ever get those songs as they were played n the movie?

A well made and illustrated commemorative book holds the CDS. The music is a compilation of Jackson's music throughout the years that inspired This is It. The music is not from the DVD This is It. It contains the songs that were meant to be used on his tour. Great quality sound. A must have for any Michael Jackson fan.
I purchased this for my daughter as a Christmas gift. I really liked that it had a special insert that wasn't available in stores. Since she saw the movie she really liked the CD. Her 3 year old daughter already has learned and loves the songs too!
