Michael Jackson Memorial At Staples Center LA. California

A little over a week after Michael Jackson's death a service has been planned for the public. Tuesday July 7, 2009 at 1PM Eastern Time. 10 AM Pacific. That is as much information that has been released at the time of this post.
What we do know is The Staples Center in LA holds 20.000 people and up to 11.000 tickets are being given out free of charge.
Some estimates have said 3/4 of a million people could show up at the arena. This would certainly put a strain on the public services.
The Staples Center is run by AEG. The same company they was promoting the come back tour. Surely AEG is looking forward to future revenue from any documentary made that includes the memorial service. AEG has put up huge amounts of money for the tour and needs to earn back that money. They took a huge risk on Michael Jackson and they lost when it comes down to it. They are dealing in reality. Anyway MJ was a businessman that would understand that. So they are not exploiting the name, just trying to recoup expenses.
Since Jackson Death many different versions of his condition have arisen. They seem to be put to rest by the video of Jackson's 2nd to last stage rehearsal. Looks can be deceiving though.

UPDATE: 17.500 tickets to Michael Jackson's attendees. Their will be no viewing area outside the venue and the public is asked to stay home and watch the memorial service on TV. The entire service woill be broadcast through a world wide feed. The feed will be free.
Police plan a full hard perimeter around the Staples Center. Know one with out a Ticket, wrist bands and ID will be allowed past the hard perimeter.
